Black Press Readers Choose Beacon Community Services

Each year, readers of the Black Press newspaper Peninsula News Review submit votes for their top picks in a number of different categories, from Best Outdoor Event to Best Place for People Watching.  This year Beacon Community Services was selected in four different categories, taking first prize in three of them. The awards and categories are:

• #1: Best Senior Friendly Establishment - SHOAL Activity Centre
• #1: Best Senior Living Facility – SHOAL Activity Centre
• #1: Favourite Thrift/Consignment Shop – Beacon Community Services (7th year in a row!)
• #3: Best Place to Park a Scooter – SHOAL Activity Centre
